NA1RC Field Day operations:

2010 Field Day photos are now online.

The 2010 ARRL field day was held on June 26th and 27th.  NA1RC operated stations from HF through UHF at the pavilion in the Lion's Club Memorial Park near Mansfield Hollow. As the place name suggests, Mansfield Hollow is not exactly a mountaintop location.  This hardly matters for HF, but it makes VHF/UHF operation challenging.

This year we expect to had one dedicated CW station, three SSB stations, and a VHF/UHF station operating on 6m, 2m, and 70cm.  Two of the SSB stations operated entirely on solar power.

Directions to Lion’s Club Memorial Park:

The park is located on Route 89 (Warrenville Rd), about 1 mile from the intersection of Routes 195 and 89. The entrance road is on the left.  After entering, bear to the right after about 100m to get to the pavilion.   The pavilion is on high ground, surrounded by playing fields. The Mansfield Parks and Recreation Department has a pdf flyer of all of its parks with a map here.
